Do you have a Blood Pressure cuff in your home? πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹β€β™‚οΈ It seems like something our parents all have, but as we start our own lives it's often found missing in new homes.

The first step to managing your blood pressure is have a monitor and Know Your Numbers!

1️⃣ Get a blood pressure monitor.

2️⃣ KNOW YOUR NUMBERS. Two numbers (for example, 140/90) help determine blood pressure. The first number measures systolic pressure, which is the pressure in the blood vessels when the heart beats. The second number measures diastolic pressure, which is the pressure in the blood vessels when the heart rests between beats.

3️⃣ WHEN should I take my blood pressure? Take your blood pressure regularly, even if you feel fine. Generally, people with high blood pressure have no symptoms. You can take your blood pressure at home, at many pharmacies, and at your doctor’s office.
